More from my Knapsack Poems, 1980 - 2017

John B.Taylor, late Bishop of St. Alban's, in his preface to Corfe's earlier book of poems,"The Road Taken", commented "I wish we could have more like this, much more. Has he no more in his knapsack to inspire his grateful readership?" These poems come from that knapsack, reflecting the writer's experiences from childhood to India, pastoral work, love of nature, marriage and bereavement. The author writes from a deep conviction that "the world is charged with the grandeur of God", and that there is nowhere in the universe where He is not present.
