From rags to riches to enrichment... Freda Casagrande was living the dream. She’d reached the top of her profession, managing a multi million pound budget for a global corporation, with the luxury lifestyle to match. Opinionated and strong, she power-dressed her way through testosterone-fuelled boardrooms, armoured in designer suits. But her confidence was hard won. She’d clawed her way out of a childhood of poverty and neglect. Now she was reaping the rewards. Yet she still felt as if something was missing. She felt empty. She could buy what she wanted but it wasn’t enough. There had to be more to life. In a state of turmoil, she set off on a trekking holiday to try to clear her head. Little did she know this trip to Nepal would dramatically change her life forever.
