On Wings of Song

It is nineteen-nineteen and Joyce Bartlett seeks revenge on Winifred Osmond who had an affair with her husband before he died in the Great War. On a trumped up charge she has Winifred's daughter, Prudence committed to an asylum. A highly nervous child, Prudence has to fight for her survival in the hostile environment of the asylum. She finds help from an unlikely source and love where she least expects it.
