Red Cross

It is 1942 and German forces have invaded and occupied Great Britain. Only Northern Ireland has managed to escape the Nazis so far, and the remnants of the British forces have retreated there. In Exeter, Devon, German soldiers patrol the streets. Several local men have mysteriously disappeared without a word to their families. They are an Auxiliary Unit and have gone to ground in their secret bunker. Their mission - to make a nuisance of themselves. Their life expectancy - two weeks. The son of one of the Auxiliaries, spurred by his father's disappearance, is determined to stand up to the invaders and organises a small group of his friends to resist. They call themselves 'Red Cross'. His sister, unfortunately, falls for a lonely German soldier and begins a relationship, threatening the security of 'Red Cross'. The Auxiliary Unit's operations leads to harsh reprisals.
