About This Author

Stuart lives in Devon and spent most of his life as a history teacher at a large comprehensive school. He has long had a fascination with the First World war and has visited the Western Front on several occasions, as well as the Gallipoli battlefields. His first book was inspired by long converations with veterans of the war. His second is based on his interest in the Home Front in WW2. Stuart lives in retirement with Liz, his partner of many years
