My book is an affectionate account of the history of a public house in North London. It's about the history of the building and the area but it is especially about the people who frequented the pub.
There are anecdotes and humorous tales and the stars of the book are ordinary people leading ordinary lives. It is social history brought to life by real characters. You will find empathy, nostalgia, pathos and above all humour.
Just as one didn't have to be an Arsenal supporter to enjoy Nick Hornby's "Fever Pitch", you don't need to come from North London or like pubs to appreciate "The Moray". Cheers!
