The Owl of the Durotriges

The blood sacrifice of a King’s first-born, an illicit love affair that destroys a friendship and a shocking injustice meted out to an innocent young mother; acts that fester for a generation. Set in pre-Roman Britain, (modern-day Hengistbury Head) the story weaves around Chela, a healer of the Durotriges, who is drawn into a world of brutal conflict, fuelled by a corrupt priesthood, and one man’s relentless search for vengeance. As the battle for tribal supremacy reaches its climax, Chela must decide her future, but first, she must atone for the past.
