The Viking Menace

A Viking hostage is taken and the fury of the Vikings is unleashed upon the monastery. Bertie makes a connection that halts the slaughter. When the fragile truce is broken, Bertie seizes his opportunity to save the king. The traitor is suspected but before he can be identified the army marches to the aid of King Alfred, and Wulfbertie is left with a stash of stolen treasure.
