The Woman at Checkout Nine

Henry buys a paperback at his local supermarket. He has forgotten his glasses, so, Sarah the woman at the checkout reads the blurb to him. So begins a beautiful friendship. They are both in loveless marriages and decide to run away together. Sarah's husband, Sid, is determined to track them down, which he does with a devastating outcome. Can they survive the horror of what Sid has planned? Or for that matter survive what Sid has not planned?
