About This Author

A.L.Bell - (Alison Linda Bell) - was born in Buckinghamshire 1978, where she developed her interests in writing songs and stories, and illustration. She moved to Yorkshire in her late teens to pursue music studies at university, and then returned south to train in acting. Acting life took her on tours throughout the U.K, with Riding Lights Theatre Company, based in York, and then her travels spread further afield, in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as she performed plays in German and English with an international theatre company. Finally settling in Yorkshire, and drawing inspiration from her travelling adventures, she continued to write short stories in folk fantasy genre, which she entitled: MR FRIEDMAN'S FIRESIDE TALES: Seven Adventures from Parallel Dimensions. (Available on amazon and FeedARead). This is the first of several novels in this series. Alison also illustrated these tales in graphic novels. THE HERMITS OF ROSENDALE HOUSE is available in black and white on FeedARead and amazon. Alison's first three colour graphic novels were published on www.blurb.co.uk in December 2012 - ANGELS OF THE OCEAN, RESCUE IN THE RUSHES and MINISTRY OF THE MINSTREL. Moving on to her next novel of short stories, MR FRIEDMAN'S FIRESIDE TALES 2: More Adventures from Parallel Dimensions was published in October 2013, and is currently available on amazon, www.xulonpress.com and Barnes and Noble websites. MR FRIEDMAN'S FIRESIDE TALES 3: YANA'S DANCE WITH THE MUSIC MAN (published 2014) is available to purchase on FeedARead and amazon. EBERANIAN TALES: THE TUNE CATCHER - is a fantasy story following on from YANA'S DANCE WITH THE MUSIC MAN. Alison continues to enjoy her artistic life as a writer, illustrator and singer in the north of England.
