About This Author

Sonia Waterfall is a retired librarian who is now spending her retirement writing, sewing, gardening and travelling. Born in Yorkshire, England, she emigrated to New Zealand after obtaining her MA in Librarianship and Information Science from Sheffield University. After a few years in the workforce she became an ‘alternative lifestyler’, financing her lifestyle by doing contract work in libraries and as a researcher. Then came two years as a volunteer librarian for Tokelau in the South Pacific with the NZ Volunteer Service Abroad organisation. She moved to Australia in 1989 where she has spent the last 24 years of her life broken only by a year in South Korea teaching English as a second language. Since retirement she has returned to England where her family live and is now resident in Rothbury, Northumberland.
