About This Author

Philip Paris is a Scottish based journalist, playwright and award-winning author. He is best known for the non-fiction and historical fiction books he has written about Orkney’s famous WW2 Italian chapel. However, his work is diverse, ranging from Casting Off, a hilarious novel about residents in a Highland care home (published under the name of P I Paris), to Men Cry Alone, a novel about domestic abuse against men. The latter won the 2019 Scottish Association of Writers’ Barbara Hammond Trophy.
