About This Author

I had a really supportive English Teacher in my teens who allowed me to be really creative in my more descriptive essays and story writing. This gave me a growing interest in letting my imagination run riot... in a constructive way! After 37 years of teaching I decided to hang up my ‘chalk’ and concentrate more on my writing alongside my retirement activities and enjoying my family without the pressures of work chasing me down. My first novel has taken several years to come to fruition. I wanted to express feelings and emotions that I grappled with during those years as well as create a plot that would make the reader stop and think about issues created by modern living. Enjoy!
