COFFIN MAKER is my first published novel and the first that I wrote. Having written many short stories I decided, one fine day, to try a full length book. This was 1st October, 1994. Armed with a character that fascinated me and a situation that intrigued, I set out with a determination to set the story world on fire - or at least to see where my character and situation ended up. That was twenty years ago. A few agents sounded interested. I gave COFFIN MAKER a polish or two and got a little more interest but never quite enough. I started another book and so far twelve novels have followed, with more on the way. Over the years I've kept returning to COFFIN MAKER, polishing, refining, and twenty years on I finally decided that it was time to let it go. Gothic fantasy or satirical black comedy - I'd prefer to let you, the reader, decide. I'm planning to publish my next book in 2015.
