About This Author

I live in Australia, married, with two children now in their early twenties. My children were adorable - then they became teenagers. People warned my wife and I beforehand, but we did not listen. We have toured not too much of Australia (it's a bloody big country), but enough for us to enjoy its diversity. One trip was 7,000 kms/2,400 miles - I said it's a big country. We have logged up quite a few sea miles on South Pacific cruises, though my wife has also cruised England to Australia twice (she didn't leave me forlornly on a dock - it was before we met). As a family we did a UK and western EU trip in 2007 over seven weeks (in a motor home in EU). In 2014 my wife and I did a five week UK tour (the kids wondered where we had gone but a neighbour blabbed). The holiday included five days narrow boating on the Llangollen Canal and three days in Middlesbrough Hospital after a heart attack - that was fun. I began writing in 1994 but never published. I completed the Tilbert trilogy in 2010. I wrote another separate novel, then wrote another which involved the Tilbert characters though in secondary roles. It was then I decided to publish, after major re-writes and tearing out my soul. I am publishing the Tilbert novels first then the associated one. The fourth still requires a major re-write or a match, one or the other, I have not yet decided. They are all science-fiction/fantasy/slightly humorous, something of an easy read, just to enjoy. I hope you like them.
