About This Author

For over forty years, I have been investigating the surname of Cave. I found genealogy became more and more interesting as information kept coming to light. I joined the Cave Family History Society to gain access to more records, and found myself adopted as their official researcher. I was able to work at my hobby and get paid for it when I became staff genealogist at Lincolnshire Archives. The old dusty records used to build a family tree hide so many stories just waiting to be told, and "Mrs Cave, Her Husband & His Wife" is (hopefully) the first of a series of books that should appeal to serious historians, anyone looking for a different book to read and those born or related to someone named Cave. I am currently working on other books, including an historical novel and a humorous look at life.
