About This Author

Penelope was born in Sussex, where she lived for 57 years before she moved to Northern Italy - where she spent just under a decade - before returning to Sussex, where she lives with her husband and their little dog. She fills her days writing - both prose and poetry, painting, creating pressed flower pictures and cards, photography and gardening. She has several projects in the pipeline, including a second poetry collection, another novel, a family history book and is currently revising 'The Haphazard Gardener', to include more photographs.
