A SCENT OF JASMINE

This miscellany of work includes a variety of sprightly short stories many of which are based on travel experiences. These are augmented by two philosophy essays on eco themes, examining the natural world and land as community with special reference to the ideas of Gandhi that are still relevant today. These essays explore their topic in some depth and ask many questions of society. There are a couple of early poems on philosophical notions trying to work out what is going on. Some social observations of people, places, animals and certain misfortunes for others tie up the writing along with a short piece of prose that interprets a Van Gogh painting.
