Cotton Street
The badly beaten body of a young woman is found in the churchyard of St Clements Church in Aberdeen's harbour area. The initial assumption is that she is a prostitute as the area is a well known pick up point for working girls. After identification the girl is identified as a single parent who was looking for bar work as her benefits had been sanctioned. The police reach out to the local prostitute community who reluctantly agree to help find the killer. Less than 48 hours later one of them is found battered to death near Cotton Street, her regular pitch. The police struggle to find a link between the victims and the trail goes cold.
Six months later a body is found in a park in Newcastle, the press conference is picked up by the Aberdeen investigation team who see similarities and begin to compare notes with Newcastle. This leads to the conclusion that they are looking for one killer but need to link them. This leads to a twenty year old murder in Manchester. The victim is the mother of two young girls who end up in the care system. The hunt is on for the killer before they strike again but will they be to late?
