Darkness Of Nature

A perfect family is struck by misfortune when the mother Jane contracts a virus that affects her brain and changes her personality. She becomes the complete opposite of her former self. No longer a caring and loving mother and wife she becomes a dark and dangerous stranger threatening her children and husband. Darkness of Nature is an exploration of relationships and personality in modern life. The story is told in the first person by her husband Andrew as he struggles to cope with their drastically changed circumstances living with this stranger. As Jane's behaviour starts to tear the family apart Andrew fights to keep hold of their children and retain his sanity. But he loses the struggle as tragedy strikes the family in the most traumatic way.
