Jesse Running Away
Emotionally scarred by childhood experiences, Jesse runs away from home at fourteen years of age. Living outside the bounds of society, this self destructive child works as a prostitute before being involved in a life-threatening accident. She is nursed back to health by someone who teaches her to believe in herself, but by so doing, paradoxically, provides her with the power to embark on a course of retribution.
Forced to leave what had become a haven in an uncaring world, she is plunged headlong into a situation which sends her running towards the wrong side of the law. Sought by the police and drug dealers, her chances of survival seem slim. The possibility of salvation arrives from an unexpected source, but has she become too enmeshed in the rage of vengeance to embrace it? This is an action-based thriller with strong psychological motivations.
