Now I Understand

Sometimes it can be difficult to let go of the past especially if there has been a lot of pain and trauma involved. There are many questions that require an answer and most start with the word ‘Why.’ Hurt anger and resentment are always at the back of Lezlee’s mind…however one cold snowy Christmas she meets Noah and together they discuss her life and sift though the difficulties she endured. As they spoke she managed to put things into perspective and even found herself laughing at some of the good times that had been clouded over by fear and a life of poverty. More than anything she craved to be loved, cherished and cared about. Right at this moment she was recently divorced and living alone in an area where she did not know anyone. Feeling fragile she is nervous of making further changes to her life. She is stood at the crossroads wondering if she had the courage to make changes that look as if they will bring her the happiness she craves… or just leave things as they are. At least right now she knows where she stands even if it does not guarantee happiness she feels safe.
