Rodney Masters believed his life was secure. A middle-aged bachelor with few responsibilities beyond his work, he liked to live comfortably, safely and quietly. But his routine is about to be disrupted, along with the lives of his friends and acquaintances. One by one, members of the political debating society of which he is a member start to go missing. Rod and his friend Gabi are reluctantly drawn into a shady world of industrial espionage, and as the saga becomes more frightening and dangerous, they realise their lives are at risk. And what is the strange tale - narrated by an unknown author - that Rod has found on a chanced-across DVD?
