Norman Dinch is a morally robust, rather intrepid and altogether unusual kind of guy. He is the owner, editor and sole reporter of his self-started local newspaper, The Weekly Shadow. The Weekly Shadow is a reflection of Norman's personality: alternative, anti-establishment, truth-seeking, but also - at times - deliberately hilarious. His readers can be counted by the dozen, but to them Norman is a folk hero. Norman risks life, limb and frequent humiliation to get his stories.
