Taunted By Dreams

Having Dreams can bring either ecstatic joy or agonising despair. This book follows four characters who in different ways are desperately fighting off the despair because they can't allow themselves to give up on their dream. Darla has been so close to her tennis dreams, only for a sickening injury to strike at the worst possible moment. Valery is a young tennis genius but she hates the attention this will bring her and doesn't know if she can handle being a star. Jack is the golfer who has had his one moment of ultimate glory, but is desperate to prove that is no fluke and that he isn't the 'worst player to ever win a major'. Larissa had her dreams crushed by cheats. Now years later she hates the life she has, but is still dreaming of a positive life. In their own way all four of them are battling their own inner demons, caused by setback after setback. All of them though deep down are driven by dreams that will never die.
