The Next Evolution

Due to a rare genetic disorder that should have killed him at birth, Adam Bladen is confined to the Virginia Genetics Institute. His religious parents, with the help of his fame-mongering doctor, treat him like a fragile glass ornament. All Adam wants to do is live a normal life. He is given that brief chance when he returns home to watch a much-anticipated meteor shower. When a meteor crashes behind the house, Adam investigates. Instead of finding a pile of alien rock, he comes face to face with Lomar – the Keeper of the Sacred Scriptures of Merin. Lomar has traveled across the universe following a glowing sphere, which is prophesized to find the Chosen One and return him to the planet Merin during their time of need. As alien mercenaries close in, the sphere is destroyed before it can identify the Chosen One. In order to protect his family, Adam reluctantly agrees to flee Earth with Lomar. This decision leads Adam on the adventure of a lifetime. Is Adam Bladen really the Chosen One, or just a scared young man who was in the wrong place at the wrong time?
