The Shield of Elthur

The Shield of Elthur is the fourth and final book in The Long Ears Legacy fantasy series. It continues the story of Lizzie Longton and her adventures in two parallel worlds. Lizzie’s friend, the young dragon Dronan, has absconded from Eldragonia. It is believed he has headed to the Highlands of Elcaledonia, the lands of the elusive Elpict tribe. Together with a small flight of Dragon Flyers, Lizzie and her friends set out in search of him before he comes to any harm. Meanwhile, Duke Eldorth is also in Elcaledonia in search of his errant partner in crime, the witch Melisha. She is on a quest to obtain an ancient spell that would cause havoc in both the Mystic and Human Worlds. Lizzie and her friends must travel between both worlds in their endeavours to thwart Eldorth and Melisha’s ambitions. Only by calling upon the strength of their friendship, and the loyalty of those around them, can they possibly succeed.
