Something about me? Okay - let's see. I think I wrote my first short story when I was eleven, and according to anyone who knows me haven't really stopped since. My current projects are a ‘post apocalypse’ story about a group of people who find ways to survive – something they seem to find easy to accomplish because somehow the trilogy seems to be becoming a quartet....and a couple of fantasies. My taste in reading material's pretty eclectic - J.R.R.Tolkein, Dean Koontz, Dan Brown, Melanie Rawn, Anne Rice, Guy Gavriel Kay and Laurell K. Hamilton are among those on my bookshelf. I like drawing, sketching and painting, reading (when I have time) and writing. Music-wise, my tastes vary. Among my favourites are The Doors, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Cradle of Filth, HIM, My Chemical Romance, Avenged Sevenfold and Fields of the Nephilim and Within Temptation (most of which meets my daughter's approval but not my husband's, needless to say). My first published novel is called ‘Welcome to Purgatory’ and introduces the main character, Luc, who runs INFERNO, a club of sorts in Purgatory. Luc, I should explain, happens to be Lucifer, Prince of Darkness, and the story revolves around the central character, his friends, lovers and family against a backdrop of the ‘battle’ between Heaven and Hell. My second and third published books are ‘Damnation Day 1 – Hell’s Angel’ and ‘Damnation Day 2 – Games People Play’. ‘Hell’s Angel’ is set in a post-apocalyptic world and follows the lives and loves of some of the ‘survivors’. The stories that make up these and the rest of the Damnation Day quartet follow the lives and loves of Angelus and those who travel with him as they travel through their world and ‘try to put things right’. The story continues in Damnation Day III - Here be Dragons and Damnation Day IV - Freedom Road (which also includes a prequel (how it all started). Daddy's Girl tells the story of Luci - a girl who has more than the usual family complications to manage while running her detective agency.
