About This Author

I have been writing since a small child when my first forays into the literary world was through poems from the age of five. From about eight I discovered I could commune with Spirit and after that I was intrigued to learn of the lives of the departed and began writing short stories that they inspired in me. To me it was so easy - merely going up in my head and retuning my psychic button in my third eye to see what spirits were available for communication. My literary forays grew and at the age of nineteen after lengthy communication with the spirit of Emily Bronte I embarked on constructing the novel that her sister Charlotte destroyed in her writing desk when Emily died - a half finished novel and the sister novel to the great Wuthering Heights - my favourite work of fiction in existence then and still now. Thus Westerdale was created but suffering from severe bouts of depression and anxiety meant although the novel was written nothing was done to reveal it to the world. Only now, many years later, has it been accepted and finally published. My psychic abilities did not lessen with age or my longterm illness and many spirits came to me to have their stories told over the years. Thus I am currently embarked on my eleventh novel aided and abetted by the spirit of a young girl called Cordelia Deane. Heaton, the exciting prequel to Westerdale, came but recently and again Emily was the spirit who helped me illuminate the early background of Heaton Grimshaw, the main character in Westerdale. Aside from writing, which always has to be done when spirit are active, I enjoy long distance walking, am a committed vegetarian and supporter of Animal Rights. I run a small cat charity called Morley Holistic Cat Rescue taking in abandoned felines and treating then naturally, especially as regards to diet. I follow a healthy vegan diet myself most of the time unless dark chocolate sneaks its way into my fridge! So it seemed right to put all the royalties from my books towards my cat rescue and we hope in the coming years to be able to build a cattery for these poor felines and give them another chance of life. I bless Spirit every day for the gift they have bestowed on me and they come with such love it is often overwhelming. The fact that innocent animals can benefit from the sale of my books is truly humbling and I look forward to inscribing many spirit's sad and sometimes happy tales when they were on the earth plain.
