About This Author

Since 2011 I have written some non fiction books and three novels which I am currently revising. The books on history happened because I had some striking original documents and photos and was given more. The books on piano playing (grade 5 - 8 - UK grades) were based on ideas used during years of piano teaching and playing. The violin/viola duets were based on material I would carry around when teaching string instruments and conducting beginners' orchestras. I enjoy every minute of the writing and editing. ADDED OCTOBER 2018 My time is divided between piano work doing several recitals a year, writing in some form and and painting. A recent children’s book – ‘SIR VIVOR DOES A CLEVER THING’ – is a story about a spider together with my own experimental illustrations. SEPTEMBER 2022 I have been revising this and planning several more. The second one is SIR VIVOR HELPS A FRIEND and is nearly completed, the third - SIR VIVOR GOES INDOORS will give an opportunity for an entirely different style of illustrations.
