A Tangled Web

A story of love and loss, of deception and betrayal. 1995: Lisa is really looking forward to her wedding day and to spending the rest of her life with Michael. Until a week before the wedding she meets Ross, Michael’s half-brother and suddenly her world is turned upside down as she falls deeply in love. Troubled by her feelings for Ross she tries to forget him but as cracks in her marriage appear she turns to Ross and begins an illicit affair. When Michael, her husband, goes missing, presumed dead she is devastated by guilt and remorse until a mystery woman appears at a memorial service held in memory of Michael. Only then does she discover how little she knows about the man she married. As the web of lies and secrets are exposed and revenge is metered out in a cataclysm of events that follows, nothing prepares Lisa for the tragedy to come. Ultimately it is Lisa’s remarkable spirit that sees her through the dark days as she fights for survival and starts to believe she can find happiness again.
