Portrait of Rosanna
1960's coming-of-age love story.
The portrait: a parting gift from her Italian lover that dominates Rosanna's existence. Trapped in a loveless marriage, she cossets the bittersweet memories it evokes. When the portrait disappears, refusing to let go of this, her most treasured possession, she tracks down its new owner, only to find herself faced by further decisions and heartbreak.
Portrait of Rosanna is the picture of a life we all recognise; Rosanna, a woman we all know. Should she reclaim her portrait or should she let it go? If happiness means confronting the past, only Rosanna can decide whether she possesses the strength, or indeed the inclination to do that.
