The Notorious Expat Wives

Three women who are uprooted from their home countries when their husbands’ careers require them to move to Germany. Getting to grips with life in a foreign country, where they are unfamiliar with the language and culture, presents many challenges and frustrations, especially as the men are so involved with work that the wives are left to cope alone for much of the time. Pam, Jill and Carla eventually resort to desperate measures to regain their husbands’ attention and become the inspiration for a nationwide wave of outrageous and often hilarious demonstrations from other women in the same position.
