The Stories of Red Leaf

Red Leaf is an Indian boy who just turned ten years old. His grandmother had taught him how to speak to animals before she died. His older brother White Cloud thinks his powers are useless, because they are not the ways of a hunter/warrior. But his parents quietly observe how this will develop. Now, with his dog 'Yelp Yelp', his horse 'Summer Wind' and his Indian friends, Red Leaf faces the problems of daily life and of survival - using his animal-speaking powers to help others and to win respect with his tribe.
