The Pinnacle

A sensitive tale of a young man who has difficulty reading and writing, and lives a single, rural life in a caravan. His mind has instinctively given credence to an ability to communicate with his dead mother, not many years departed. He forms a spiritual attachment with a widowed lady of middle years whom he has named as Mrs Dawn because he sensed 'a new day had been born'. The bond between these two is gentle, uncertain to begin with, before finding its own way to become a powerful and beneficial bond of providential regeneration. Set in the grounds of a rural concert hall where one December an unexpected fall of snow temporarily trapped concert goers.
