The adventures of "Dense" Dimmock and Boris "Seven Bellies" Slobovitch.
In the sleepy village of Muddlecombe-cum-Snoring lives Dense Dimmock, village idiot and part time MI6 consultant who is called upon to rescue a Scottish oil executive kidnapped in Azerbaijan. He is smuggled out to Azerbaijan with the help of the RAF but is himself then kidnapped.
His village drinking partner Boris, retired KGB assassin, pops home to the Ukraine to raise a small army of Cossacks to help out and arrives in Azerbaijan to find his pal has been hoodwinked by Nickola Elastickova, the beautiful moll of the local warlord Igor Badlotski who is holed up in a small castle just outside Baku. Heads roll as they capture the castle and find Dense and Nickola in a compromising situation but manage find to the whereabouts of the oilman who is held up country.
Disguised as a choir the Cossacks et al manage to release him but wake up the countryside and a local freelance reporter who realises he has a scoop on is hands. News spreads worldwide much to the annoyance of the Prime Minister who calls on the head of MI6 to explain who is embarrassed by the lack of information. Heads start to roll in the UK.
