Framesmith
England - October 1831.
The industrial revolution is in full swing but so too is a peoples revolution. The Whig government is backing electoral reform, a move seen by the Tories as a danger to the established order and with the House of Lords rejecting the Reform Bill, a wave of discontent surges across the land. At the Goose Fair in Nottingham the people rise up in protest and the Riot Act is read.
On that same day, Framesmith William Petty discovers that he is the victim of industrial espionage; that his design of a revolutionary new machine has been stolen and instead of a successful future he is now facing the prospect of bankruptcy and the debtor's prison. Seeking for the perpetrators of the fraud he discovers a trail that involves him in the increasing spiral of mob violence and civic destruction raging across the town. Violence that endangers not just himself but his friends and his fiancé.
