LASTING TRAUMA
The world is seen through the eyes of Sarah, a middle aged woman. She has tremendous psychological problems resulting in deep clinical depression, caused by many traumatic events in her life. These events have left her with real and life threatening fears
To return to some semblance of normality, Sarah goes through emotional counselling sessions. For it to be effective she has to come to terms with her past. In order to do this she re-lives, through various counselling mediums, these events that have caused her breakdown of health.
She is living alone and having to cope with her own nightmares and very realistic fears and phobias. She feels ashamed of how she sees her life being perceived by others.
Then she meets a man from her early life, which is part of the evaluation process she is going through, how she dealt situations previously. Luckily, this part of her past becomes a positive event and helps her on the road to recovery, changing her life radically.
It is only when she can eradicate all her nightmares and come to terms with the past can she move forward to a future life.
