One Small Step

One small step takes Charlie in to a nightmare of crumbling and decayed buildings. He is alone and terrified. With nothing but the clothes he stands up in, he faces a bleak future, a future depending on one simple fact. Can he survive with no food or water, no weapons to defend himself from wild dogs in a hostile environment. Can he find other people? is he alone? did his family survive what happened? All questions haunting his over active senses. Dogs follow him, unsure at first, but Charlies knows he is just another animal on the food chain and it is a matter of time before they attack. Loneliness threatens to drive him mad, he needs someone to talk to, another human voice. He should be careful of what he wishes for.
