NATIVE AMERICANS ; THE APACHE
The Apaches are culturally related Native American tribes mainly from the South-Western United States and Northern Mexico, having migrated from Canada and Alaskan regions.
Their homelands in Eastern Arizona, Sonora and Chihuahua in Mexico, New Mexico, West Texas and Southern Colorado consist of high mountains, sheltered valleys, deep canyons, deserts and the Southern Great Plains.
The Apaches on the Kansas Plains found themselves at a loss initially, as they were unaccustomed to living on Plains and farming, but soon learnt to plant beans, water melons and corn as crops, but as they struggled with their new life, their vulnerability was seen by the Comanche's who seized their land, causing them to move into other area such as New Mexico and Arizona, while others moved into Texas and parts of Mexico.
