About This Author

Chris Deggs was born in 1948 in Bury St. Edmunds, England. The author became interested in the ancient Tarot in 1974, after his introduction to the, now, international Emin Foundation. There, he studied a wide array of subjects in order to understand our purpose on Earth. One of these subjects, the Tarot, a balance of both science and art, depicts the way in which the natural laws work and how to apply them consciously in order for us to be able to flow with the natural process of the universe. After researching and studying these universal laws and principles, Chris made his first tarot deck in 1975, which he designed, in a circular format. Since then he has designed many personal decks with each one being a refinement and simplification of the one preceding it. Resulting from this he designed and published "The Living tarot"as a limited edition, for local markets in the early 1990’s. This he sold while doing Tarot and Numerology readings at markets and other venues. His profound knowledge and love of symbolism, numerology, colour vibrations, and the art of anagrams inspired him to integrate this body of knowledge in this book which seeks to unite metaphysics with new creative physics. Chris Deggs is now happily retired and lives in the Tweed Valley in Northern New South Wales, Australia. He is a colleague of the Science-Art Cancer Research Institute of Australia where he is actively involved as a visual artist and author, He has written many works of fiction as well as reference books for the betterment of the human condition. He has published a number of articles on the Academia Website reflecting this. Writing and painting are Chris' two main passions in life in which he is always looking for new ways to express himself.
