Blood Ties

Rhonda Winters is delighted when her youngest daughter Coral announces her engagement to boyfriend Nathan. She tries to hide the fear that they haven’t known each other long enough to take such a huge step, but doesn’t want to deny Coral her happiness. And after the trauma Rhonda and the rest of the family have suffered in the past, it’s about time they had something to celebrate. Wedding plans are made and the excitement grows, but as the big day approaches, another tragedy strikes, throwing the Winters family back into the despair of grief and loss. Why was this seemingly ordinary family struck twice by murder? This is the question that drives the investigation headed by Detective Sergeant Lesley Groves and her off-sider Detective Constable Sergeant John Simpson. Were the Winters caught up in a jewellery scam gone wrong, or was the second murder somehow tied to the first? They must find the answer to this question before it is too late.
