About This Author

Trish lives on a small sub-tropical island off the southern coast of Queensland, Australia. When she's not looking out of the window at her ocean view, she turns the computer on and allows her imagination to take her to people and places well beyond the horizon. Her interest in writing began as a result of her research into family history, where she uncovered many ancestors whose lives were stories worth telling. Trish based her first novel, 'The Basketmaker', on her great-great grandmother Mary, who emigrated from London to Sydney in 1860. In between 'The Basketmaker' and her second novel, 'The Way Home', Trish has written several short stories, some of which have been shortlisted in competitions or broadcast on radio. She's also written two plays, one a pantomime (co-written with a friend) - 'The Confounded Nugget' - and the other a modern murder mystery entitled 'The Business of Murder'.
